Welcome to the Midhurst Forge website.

The forge is open despite the Covid virus restrictions so feel free to get in touch any time. Hopefully it won’t be long now until we can get back to normal.

Now is the time to think about the fireguard you always wanted or to repair the fire grate that has seen better days – I’ve just had three of these come in within the space of one week!

The descriptions and pictures in here will give you an idea of what is available. The ‘About’ page and GALLERY show the kind of things that can be made and really we are limited only by your imagination so if there’s something you would like making from metal whether it be functional or artistic please get in touch and let’s see what we can create.

I am also often asked to carry out repairs to items that need straightening, welding, rebuilding or replacing so feel free to bring your broken items along if you want them repairing. Think of me as your local ‘Repair Shop’ man.

Restoration and Heritage work can be undertaken to the highest standards as per the guidelines of the National Heritage Ironwork Group, NHIG, which I am a member of.
